To find a case, search a plaintiff’s name at the top right-hand corner and click the plaintiff’s name. This will land on the case main page where you can view the:
- Plaintiff name
- Primary case owner
- Secondary case owner
- Tertiary case owner
- Lead source
The Details tab is where all the information about the specific legal case is stored, including:
- Case tracking (Current Case Status, Current Medical Status, Case Tracking Notes, etc.)
- Primary Case Information (Date of Loss, Case Type, State of Incident, etc.)
- Medical Evaluation
- Additional lien information
- Additional case information
Now we'll go in-depth with the other tabs on the case profile page.
The Underwriting tab includes a case summary and other notes about the case while it's under the Underwriting process.
The Applications tab will show all of the lien applications, approved and rejected, past and present, related to this plaintiff.
The Liens tab is where you'll find all of the information about the approved liens, their payoff projections, and contracts that exist for each open lien.
The Documents tab is where you can upload and store all of the documents related to this case, and is also where you will go to generate and download your Word document templates.
The Contacts tab will give you the contact information of those involved in the case, including the attorney, law firm office, additional point of contact such as a paralegal, and the plaintiff. You can edit in this section as well the plaintiff's details such as phone number, email, and address. The mobile number is especially important as you can send an SMS to that number via the portal.
The case page shows a live feed of your updates and correspondences related to this case. This feed is useful as a timeline for the evolution of the case as well as to be able to see when contact was made with those involved in the case, such as the plaintiff or attorney. All changes are recorded here as well, including Primary or Secondary Owner changes.
