Viewing, Adding, and Removing Medical Codes

The software supports Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes globally but organizations can add their custom codes with descriptions, like codes for durable medical equipment (DMEs). 

What are the steps to it?

1. Open the case you want to view, add, or remove CPT codes from
2. Choose an Application or a Lien within the case
3. When adding the codes to a funding application, choose which application the code/s will be added into and click the Details link
   
4. When adding the codes to an existing lien, choose the medical lien and click the View link
   
5. There are existing CPT codes pre-loaded into the software already, however, users can add CPT or other custom codes as they process the lien or funding applications. 
   • Search for a code by typing in the 5-digit CPT/DME code or by typing in keywords for the procedure
   • If the code is not part of the pre-existing codes in the software, click the New Medical Code link and provide the necessary details in the medical code fields.
6. To delete a CPT code from a lien, simply click the delete button in each code entry under the Medical Codes and Descriptions section
