Lien applications are managed by the users through a “stage” system. Depending on the access level, a user can update the status of the application through the dropdown menu on each open application.
Once the application is created, it’s automatically marked as a New application. Your organization can use Processing and Underwriting in accordance with your organization’s definition of these stages. Sales Representative, Case Servicer, and Case Manager levels can only mark it to processing, and then to underwriting.
Executive, Admin, and Underwriter access can mark an application as Approved. Once an application is marked as approved, there are additional steps required by the software.
Once an application is marked Approved, a pop-up asking you to alert another user will appear. You can choose another active user or click on Skip.
The status will now show Approved on the dropdown menu. You can choose to leave it as it is and provide more information later or you can do it once you mark it as such.
To supplement the lien terms and other medical funding details, click on the Details link.
The Details tab will show you all the information fields you can fill out when it comes to your approved Medical Funding.
Users can choose to edit the basic lien information under the Medical Lien Info section such as the status of the lien, its label, service date, and purchase date, as well as if you have additional notes for the lien.
Users can also add the Medical Facility, Medical Provider, and Medical Contacts in this tab. If Capital Providers is turned on for your organization,
The next section you can edit is the Medical Codes and Descriptions. A pre-loaded set of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes are available in the software already, however, you can always load your own codes if you have them. You can send in a request to our Support Team for this.
Document Templates are pre-loaded documents you can make available for download within the lien-level settings. You can send in a request to the Support Team if you want this available for your organization.
