An update has been released which affects how case IDs and lien IDs are labeled in our Report exports.
Case IDs:
Going forward, the long case UUID [in column D] has been renamed to “system_case_id”. For context, there are two types of case IDs that may be generated in our case Reports. The first is a long, difficult to read internal system UUID (e.g., 13b02333-9cd1-4620-8465-4428a7b30afd). The second is a user friendly version which is also available on the Case Details page.
Previously, both of these IDs were exported as “case_ids.” The first UUID column has been renamed ‘system_case_id’ to distinguish it from the user friendlier remaining ‘case_id’.
Lien IDs:
Going forward, the long lien UUIDs [in column F] will be renamed in the export to “system_lien_id,” and a new user-friendly lien ID, "lien_id", will be provided. The new user-friendly lien ID will consist of the case ID with the lien number appended to the end.
For example (in the screenshot), John Aden's lien ID will be represented as "18-00135-06"
Please be aware that these changes may impact any Excel macros, scripts, or mappings that rely on the previous column names for case IDs and lien IDs. We recommend reviewing and updating any such tools to ensure they continue to function correctly.
